October through May we offer the Alaska Highland Hugs experience Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 1:30pm AKST.

(Additional dates available by appointment, call to arrange.)

Gather under the open-air barn to brush and pet the warm cows and cuddle the calves! New calves can arrive at any time, but typically begin to appear in February.

The cows are active in the summer--they explore and forage in the woods most days. During the long winter they stay mostly in the paddock and endure the cold. They really love seeing people at this time and relish the extra attention and love.
